These was done using an antique plate and a cheese dome...after this picture of taken I replace the white knob with a glass one. I always love the glass domes/bells and this was a make-do project.

Ribbon eggs. I used the egg shape styrofoam for this project and used the internet directions on making the ribbon pinecone.
I had to add a square of fabric at each end before starting to cover any opening that might show the white styrofoam.

The ribbon eggs were choosen for one of the Best Easter crafts of (year?) on Martha Stewart's web site a few years ago...lol...my 15 seconds of fame.
**note: these can not be where there are children or pets that might get ahold of them. They are filled with sequin straight pins that holds the fabric down!

Thanks ladies. They are older projects but they might help give some inspiration.
Hope others will post their ideas and projects too!

Aunt Diane, Your Easter creations are wonderful. I love them all. I had seen the directions for pine cones, but you improved on that by using ribbon for Easter eggs. You do great work. Thank you for sharing. Marylee

Your paper mache rabbit looks like a big chocolate bunny that you could eat. Love all of your crafts, the ribbon eggs are lovely!

Diane, I love every one of your projects. They are so pretty and the little tree with the crystals is gorgeous. Love the choc bunny and I would never have thought about a hair band for around the neck , but it's pretty. Thanks for sharing and you are right about sharing older crafts since there are always those of us who are forgetful and new members all the time, who have not seen them.

hello ashley.....Thanks for joing up and posting.

Beautiful egg. I don't know why I've never tried to do one. Maybe this is my year. Enjoy seeing all you do.

Good friends are like stars...You don't always see them, but you always know they're there.

Helloashleylee's tutorial is great but isn't her site like the other ones that were kicked off? She sells things at the bottom of her page? Not trying to stir anything up, maybe I'm wrong.
