I answered RedRoosters post way earlier about if there would be a Thanksgiving Card swap so in order not to cause friction, I'll start one as I promised her, but it will be themed around November and not just Thanksgiving. That way there won't be a perceived competition.
Of course anyone is welcome to either or both as HGTV intended or you can start your own card swap as well. the more the merrier.
Sign-ups will be in Oct. for early November sending.
November isn't only Thanksgiving time. There are a lot of silly and yummy ones but here are some more to consider: November is . . . . International Drum Month November 10 is . . . . It will be a basic one to one swap of November-themed cards from a list of participants.
Sign-up deadline is Oct. 15th. Sign-up via PM with name and address using "Nov. card swap" in title line. When sign-ups are closed, I'll PM each participant with a name and address to use to send their Nov. card to another participant. I hope folks will let me know when they receive a card so I can keep track of that in the swap. It makes for less disappointment. Cards must be mailed no later than November 24th so they are received in the month of November.

Ive always wanted to join in n one of the swaps you all do but so scare I wouldnt get in done in time and so bad about going to the post office,..lol..but I think I can handle a card,,so count me in!
tmarie, RedRooster wanted someone to start a Thanksgiving card swap. I volunteered on her post. Deb from PA started one soon after so I named mine November card swap so as not to confuse.
There can be any number of swaps on these boards simultaneously. All it takes is a hostess and HGTV allowing them on. You can sign up for as many as you like. You can sign up for this one by PMing me your address and please use "Nov. Card Swap" in the title so I know which swap to place you in.. You CAN do this, and I am eager to see your cards as I like what you post on here.

jenintx, you're in. for more Bizarre Holidays go to: Bizarre Holidays it's where I find all these to post. There are other sites as well if you Google that phrase, but this is the one I use. You can also find them on e-card sites but they usually get their lists from sites like these. Just click on the month and scroll down. There were lots more for Oct. but they didn't appeal to me for cards at the time.
