Jean,
They are probably quite warm, and not much different from the caps that pull completely over the face leaving eye holes to peer out of.

Jean,
Can I ask you what size is your photo you have for your avatar? I'm having problems getting mine small enough. Thanks for your help.

Those are just too cute. I may have to try making one for my little guy. (Little lol he's 13 now and taller than me). Think I'm going to go look for a pattern. It looks like they just made the beard and attached it to a hat. That's probably what I'll have to do since I'm not that good at knitting or crocheting lol.

Connie..what surprises me is that I actually could follow the pattern....and I can't follow a pattern on anything else.!! Now a couple of the younger guys want one to wear when they go into the woods to hunt. So you tell him 'Thank you" again from me.

Hi Jean,
My son's girlfriend, who knits everything, said,it is really frustration to watch him, as he can figure out things so fast, cause he is an engineer and math comes easy for him and it takes her so much longer to figure out changes.
So when he got the pattern he immediately revised the parts that did not seem right to him. Maybe there is a new career out there for him, if he ever needs it. (smile)
Connie (we got about 7 inches, how many did you get of snow)
