Each year I make ornaments for our grandkids and here are the ones for this year plus a little snowman key I tried. I need to do more of these since I like them. Hope you will share photos of your crafts for gifts

I love those. They are adorable. How did you make the snowman? I'd love to try these for my grandson. Thanks for sharing.

They are so adorable! Did you paint the snowman faces and make the hats?

Those are so cute. I've seen them with the little earmuffs but never with hats before. What did you use to make the hats?

Hi all and thanks for your comments.
DABonner-- the snowman face is a wooden dome piece that I painted the face on. You would enjoy making them and they could be made on just a flat wooden disk or even with Sculpey clay.
Annie& hjvagar I did paint the faces and the hats are small felt snowman hats I had in my stash and they had to be cut down to very thin portions to fit the face and be able to glue to the snowflake backing. I used a narrow ribbon for the hat band and even though you can't see them, I glued a tiny irridesent( spelling ) snowflake on the hat too. I was pleased with the way they turned out and thank you for your interest. I love sharing crafts.

Yes, I wrote the date on the back of the snowflake. Each year, I usually write their name : from Me ,and the date but this one only had room for a date and they have a special container for all their ornaments so they know they are from me anyway.
Glad you all enjoyed sharing my craft and hope you will make some next year. I enjoy finding those "special ornament ideas " to make each year, and all our family want to see what I made when we have our family gathering.
