I was just reading hjvagar's post "Is it just me?" and had to share this. There are still some great deals!

If you like playing with creative metal or ever wanted to try it, here's a screaming deal.

Walnut Hollow has an awesome creative metal package that retailed for $173 and is marked down in clearance to (even I couldn't believe this) $34! BUT...I received an e-mail last night that had a code for another 50% off that can be used on the same package!! With S&H the total came to $28.10!!
The tools and hardware alone retail for $75+ If you've never worked with creative metal you're in for a treat. It's great for accents on cards, wood pieces, frames, candle sleeves, and so much more. Needless to say I picked one up. I've always enjoyed working with creative metal but always improvised with my own tools. Check it out, you'll never be able to get all the tools & metal included here to play with at this price. Quantities are limited.

The code to receive the 50% off is - DEAL5

*the following link will tell you what's included in #29920 a.k.a the Beginner's Kit and some of the other tool pkgs in the kit.

Thanks Rainee! I have looked at those sets before but never wanted to spend that much. I just ordered one for myself and one to send my sister for her bday.

Mira'smom,
I am excited to get it. The price was ridiculous considering all of the tools that were included. Have fun with it, I know I will.

GREAT PRICE!

Sure you could! The metal is easily cut into strips, shapes, etc....it is very easily manipulated to make accents. AND the design sheets included are also recommended for use with clay! and I certainly don't see why you couldn't use the stamps with clay as well. I KNOW you use clay on your gourds (love your work by the way). Who knows, you could discover a whole new direction in working with your gourds. :-)

Now that I'll have several stamps and burnishing tools to use I plan to play with it on my wooden bangle bracelet blanks. Should be able to conjure up some cool jewelry.

Hjvagar,

I didn't NEED it either but at that price? I couldn't resist getting myself some new toys. :-)

For a quick reference technique sheet on how to use the tools included in this pkg go here.....

Thanks ....of I forgot...my bill came to $30.96, but what is $3.00 on a good sale.

I can't believe I am back here posting again but after thinking about this all night I went back and ordered one more. I figured if it's a great deal then I'm set for awhile plus if it's a great deal but I don't need doubles on some of the tools I can give them to friends for their own use and have the extra supplies for me. Or if it's really good it's going to be a gift for someone special and I can have my own to play with. Now, they need to end this special before I get sucked into their vortex yet again lol! BTW mine came to $27.83 each.

Jean & Hjvagar, you both crack me up!

By the way Jean, I've been working on downsizing my crafts supplies myself and in the last 2 years I literally donated garbage bags full of stuff I don't use anymore. But when I look at my craft space it doesn't even looked like I've removed anything! So you can see how well THAT'S working. It's an addiction. I need a meeting, LOTS of meetings. LOL

p.s. And I must confess that I also considered ordering a second set of the above pkg. I rest my case. :-)
