hjvagar - did you run up to Niagara Falls for the walk across the falls? I'm up in Hamlin, not all that far from you but I'll watch it in the comfort of the living room. Can't imagine doing any of that.

I would love to have seen that walk...I understand that it was very wet and windy !
Congratulations to the walker on his successful walk on a tightrope across the falls!

Nope. I missed it. Was going to go but then saw the reports on no parking, traffic jams and thousands of people and decided I, like you, would watch it from the comfort of my house lol. It was on every channel and they had the entire thing on my channel 7. I did get to the Casino to see him practice a bit ago. It was amazing though. I really didn't think I'd enjoy watching. Thought, he's got that harness on so how suspenseful could it be but I was actually spellbound by it. He has to either be crazy or have nerves of steel lol. Now I could kick myself for NOT going. (And the sad thing was I was all alone so I could have gone and enjoyed it. Both kids gone for the whole weekend lol).

I watched it, stunts like that always fascinate me. I hear his next feat is to walk across the Grand Canyon.
Harness or not, that takes a lot of guts. Anything can go wrong.

Yes, it fascinated me too. I did get to meet him the next day. He was at the outlet mall in Niagara Falls. He's so nice. I will definitely be watching that Grand Canyon one too! And Rainee, he didn't need that tether at all. Not once did he falter in the least. He would have made it without it! Even when he knelt down and pumped his fist and then when he ran the last few feet he was steady as a rock!
