I am making some glass ornaments. The kind that are flat like a pane of glass. I would like to put tape on the outer edge like they would do for stained glass projects. Does anyone have any idea which would be the best to use and have any idea where to get it. Thanks in advance. | |||

If you have any hobby shops near you check those places, Joanns or Michaels sometimes carry it. It's used in other types of projects other than stained glass. http://www.joann.com/memory-gl...-tape-1-4-/prd45299/ You may even be able to find something at a local hardware store. 3M Scotch makes foil tapes in different widths for home repair, you might be able to use one of them for your project. Doing a simple on-line search for 'stained glass supplies' brings up several suppliers. You can even get it at Amazon. http://www.anythinginstainedgl...com/metals/foil.html http://www.amazon.com/Stained-...l-Tape/dp/B003IWY184 http://www.delphiglass.com/stained-glass-supplies/ http://www.glasscrafters.biz/CTGY/foil *If you have a good paper cutter to cut strips with, a Xyron to apply adhesive, and some aluminum foil you can make your own foil tape. This message has been edited.
