There's so many cute bottle brush tree tutorials out there that I thought I'd try one. BUT I couldn't find the size I wanted. I want to bleach it white the use pink glitter on it to put it into a cup. Here's one I saw:

So instead I bought a small tree, wrapped the bottom in pink fabric, tied with a silver ribbon, decorated it and set it on a cake platter. I got the pale gold and pink poinsettia mat last year in a swap so it's perfect for setting it in my bathroom. Now I've got holiday in the loo but not elsewhere. Fa La La La La

Your small tree is very cute, I love your wallpaper. I just ran into a site with the bottle brush tree (I added it to my Christmas crafts today) , it is the first time I have heard of them, they are so cute-who would of thought such a thing! People have great imaginations.

EvelynB - I actually love your tree. I've honestly never seen a pink decorated one before and I love the way it looks on that platter.

Makes her own:

Or you can buy a bag from WalMart and bleach them yourself:
