Hello ladies! i used to be on this board some years ago but have done very little crafting as i am caring for my mom.

My daughter is getting married to a wonderful young man that has FOUR yes FOUR boys!

This will be our first Christmas with them and i haven't met them all but would like to do something with them.

We will all go pick out a tree and put up and I am at a loss of what craft they could do to decorate the tree. the boys are in age of 3, 6, 9 and 12!

Thanks in advance!

Blessings,
Betty

First of all WELCOME BACK! And second wow, Congrats to your daughter and yourself.

I have made several crafts with the kids over the years. One that seemed to be the fav was clear glass ornaments that were painted inside. I've included a U Tube video of a different but same idea and a picture of ones similar to what we did. Every year they say " I did this one " LOL It's funny what they remember! Oh and they are 28 and 22 now. Enjoy your new family!

Oriental Trading company has a lot of christmas craft packages that they sell at a great prices and everything to make the crafts are in the package. You can buy several different craft packages for the boys to make. Another good idea would be to decorate gift bags for everyone.

Last year, DSs cub scout pack made glittered ornaments and had a blast. ALl you need is clear glass ornaments, liquid floor wax and martha stewart fine glitter.

Swirl a small amount of floor wax into the ornament (pouring out the excess for someone else to use), add the glitter and swirl til its covered. Put the cap on and add a ribbon for decoration and a hanger.

They really like making these and it was really easy.
