I am going to do this for my 2 teenage grandsons, as they like to buy for themselves.

This is a wonderful idea. I just wish we had dollar bills here in Canada. sigh..as close as we would get would be $5.00 Guess it depends on the naughty or nice list. LOL
Thanks for the great idea.

Another way to give (especially teenagers) money is put it in a can with the pull top. The look on their faces when they see a can of 'pork and beans' or green beens. is so priceless. You use one of the can openers that cut off the top of cans and then you don't get cut. (Only you cut the bottom off, empty and clean the can good and fill with candy and the money and glue the bottom back on.)

Good friends are like stars...You don't always see them, but you always know they're there.

I have one of those can openers. hehe...this is going to be so fun. My son and his family have moved far away this year and won't be able to come home for Christmas. First time in 28 years. sigh..So because I do crazy stuff at Christmas I think doing this for them would be a hoot. They will think " Mom's gone crazy " when she is sending beans in the mail for Christmas. He hates beans by the way LOL THANKS for the wonderful idea. I LOVE this place!

I love the pull top can. Thanks for the idea. I have done the crumbled money in with tissue paper. It took them hours to get all the 1 dollar bills unwrapped.

My niece gave my mother money for Christmas in a very fun way. I had to immediately blog about it of course. You use a toilet paper roll and cover it with wrapping paper. Make a slit in the toilet paper roll and also the wrapping paper, tape all the money together so it makes a long strip. Then roll it up and put it inside the toilet paper roll with a little bit of the first bill sticking out (to give the person getting the gift an idea to pull out the money. When he does, the money keeps coming and coming. It's fun to watch someone pull out the cash. Happy Christmas Season. Linda
