This is a really bad picture--my camera was acting up this day, but I wanted to show you what I did. We received a college graduation announcement from a family member, and I cut down the front of the card, stamped the purple congrats and grad hat on the front, matted with gold and purple on a white card. On the inside, I wrote the message in purple, and stamped another grad hat in the corner. (The hat inside stamped a lot better on the card stock, than it did on the original front of the card.) Then I used the inner envelope, which had no writing on it to mail the card. The original card included a really pretty embossed gold seal of the college, and I cut that out and used it as a sticker on the back of the envelope. I thought she might want to keep it as a memento.

Great idea Karen!!! I have taken the announcements and taken a 3 tier picture frame (a frame with places for three photos) and placed a photo of the graduate in one opening, the announcement in another and the little name card in the third. It sure was a hit with all the graduates that received the frame. A keepsake for years to come!! G o D bless Nyoka

Nyoka, that's a super idea, and I'll tuck it away for another time. As I said in the first post, it's not a good picture, but I thought the IDEA was worth throwing out there. Thanks!
