ok, i have my first craft show under my belt and it was a lot of fun. we did pretty well money-wise and we met so many nice people, both vendors and customers alike. wine bottle lights were a big attraction and sold really well @ 20 each. other items didn't do as well but that was ok; we made 380 on the lights and 100 on other stuff. table only cost us 35.
and now i'm going to make my first attempt at posting a pic; hope i can do it!!!
can't figure out how to get pics out of my folder and over here. i'll try again later; my craft group is going to show up in 45min and i'm not even dressed yet! Eek

That sounds like a pretty good first show. Most people dont do as well in the spring shows, so I would say you did good girl!

Sounds like a great show. It is always fun to meet like minded people at craft shows.
My dd and I did a street festival this weekend and did good, good not great. We made money, the weather was fantastic and the best part was it was only 7 miles from home. Our favorite part is people watching and of course making money.

i did take some pics (they aren't that great) but am having trouble getting them over to this site. i asked DH to help me work on posting so i'll try again later.
the wine bottle lights were a big hit. vendors and visitors alike had never seen them before so that was a big "plus" for us.
i really enjoyed it and we'll (myself and one gal friend) definitely plan on another show in the fall.
lots of folks here gave me advice on doing a show and it was all so helpful. what a great bunch of crafters we have here!!! Big Grin
