At the bottom of this page they give a list of materials to purchase. So I am guessing that the ribbon size stated is the size that was used to make the trees. ( I think 20mm WIDE is about 3/4 of an inch? Not sure how long the ribbon is cut to though....? )

I would try 2" pieces then you'll end with one inch size pedals... I don't know if I would do it all the way to the top tho... But that's what it looks like in the pic... I would try to go smaller at the top.. Hope you can do it and show us.. Would love to see it.

I made three ribbon trees a couple of years ago that werema little different. This is the directions that I used. http://www.michaels.com/Celebr...d.html?cgid=projects

They came out beautifully and I ended up giving them as gifts to friends. This was one of the first crafts that I ever made and it was easy to do while watching a Christmas movie. I have enough ribbon so I might make a larger one that can stay up the rest of the year. If you do a search for ribbon tree at michaels.com, they have a couple different versions of the ribbon tree.
