i am making some wooden oraments for outside i painted them and then i cut some christmas design out of cardstock using my cricut .how do i protect them when i puty the sign outside
Did you think about laminating them before you glue them on. If you do not have a machine use clear contact paper. Maybe that would help to keep them from the weather.
i made a orment out of wood and painted it then spell some words out of vinyl and then i cut some cardstock tree and a bow out of cardstock that is what i need to know how to do it thank you
Wow with all three different materials the only thing I can think of is to lightly spray it with a sealer several times to make sure it's totally sealed.

Hmmmm, thinking back on my response I'm not sure if that's right. I know up here in the north if I did that it wouldn't last too long - maybe a year or two tops if even that. I've made so many things for outside and with the cold, ice and all most don't last. Maybe someone else will have a better answer for you.

An epoxy sealer would work, you can embed anything in it and they make one for outside too. I do have to warn you however it is a bit expensive to purchase. It is a package of 2 different mediums that you mix together and then pour over your sign. Be sure to wear gloves as it is really stickey if you get it on your hands. DJ
