I made some of those last year using scrapbook paper. I put diamond glaze on top.I had my husband drill small holes in top to make them hang better. Linda

ps. how do you get on that site? looks like a nice place.

I made some for a friends daughter last Christmas. I made her 2. I painted one washer pink... the other white on both sides. Then I did the same as llcp did...went over them each with a couple coats of ''Mother of pearl'' irridesent paint, they looked like genuine Mother of pearl. And I found some little enamel roses that fit awesome in the center to cover the hole .I put a pink rawhide base on the pink one and used red on the white .And then I very carefully with super glue clear...glued the roses in the center so you could not see the hole at all. Then I used just a very little amount of the ''M.O. pearl'' paint on the very tips of the rose petals to make it pop.and then last but not least I glued a tiny little pearl in the center of the roses. They turned out gorgeouse!!! Wish I had made more...still have a few more different colored enamel roses. Believe it or not Ithink I GOT THEM IN A BOX OF CRAFT STUFF AT A YARD SALE. But i bet a pretty button would look cool in center too. OR EVEN COVERED IN WALLPAPER WITH SOMETHING LIKE A BUTTON IN CENTER. Wink Donna
