Mod Podge clear plate
I want to do a special memorial clear plate for my BF that recently lost her FIL, If I print the picture out and use Mod Podge to coat it on the back of theplate, do you think it will keep? If you have any other suggestions, they are appreciated!

Yes, you have to modpodge the glass then put down the picture than Modpodge over it and it should hold as long as the paper the photo is printed on is not too heavy.

Just wondering. When you printed the pic did you use a laser printer or ink jet? If you used an inkjet printer you will need to set the ink before doing this or else the picture will run. Learned that one the hard way. There are sprays that you can use to do this. I think I got mine at Michaels but don't quote me on that. If your printer is a laser printer I'm pretty sure you don't need to worry about this. Maybe someone else can confirm that for you here. Good luck. It sounds like a lovely gift for your friend.

Thank you for helping me out. I did use Mod Podge on the plate and over the picture, but you can see the brush strokes (I used a foam brush) on the picture. Any suggestions???
