Each month, I make tray favors for the local hospital to put on the patients meal tray. I make 30 each time so I can be sure there are enough. I thought I'd show you the ones I made for Jan. & Feb. First is the snowman I made for January. I didn't know it would be so labor intensive, so this is the only time I make them.

What a wonderful idea and a great way to bring a smile to a patient's face while they're laid up. Do you actually work at the hospital?

Thanks to everyone for their kind comments. I worked at the hospital until I retired, but I DO belong to the Auxiliary and make these tray favors as a pick-me-up for the patients. I'm always searching for ideas for easy crafts to make. Thanks again.

Those are great! And you're so thoughtful to do that. They do something similar to that at our church. Their's go to people that get Meals on Wheels.

Kathleen,
I LOVE your favors and I know the people in the hospital appreciate them too. I make favors for the 21 ladies who work with me and like you am always searching for easy, inexpensive ideas. Have you joined Pinterest...if not, you should. There are tons of cute ideas on there and I'm sure you would soon find lots of other things to interest you.

How about bookmarks?

Or 3-4 in.metal ring with a used dryer sheet glues over it (and trimmed around) and then a picture painted on the dryer sheet. To hang in a window. I have one with a bird on it that I have had for over 8 years.

Heart flower pins like these...

Or daffidil cups. Don't know what you could put in them as I don't think you could use candy. Could you?
