Anyone else having a problem with the new look? the font is smaller now and the faded background makes things look blurry. Other post must have been pulled. The page is wider harder to read.

I hate change. I feel like I have to squint to see this.

I also chasnged the text size to larger rather than medium.

Go to page at the right top of screren and click on text size in the drop down menu and choose larger or largest text size for easier reading.

My tired old eyes needed a larger font. LOL....

Thanks ladies. I did change the font. But it still looks blurry to me. Must be my tired of eyes.

I don't like it either, all I get done is scroll left and right because it's way too wide, especially the main board screen.

I am not having a problem with the font size, just the screen size. Like sharon said, I have to scroll left on every post that I click on. This is very annoying. Does any one know if we can fix this on our computer? Also, the color is dreadful! I want the old format back!

maybe it has to do with screen resolution...i dont have to scroll back and forth, that would be irritating....

my screen res is 1280x1024.....you can see what yours is by going to control panel, display and then settings...

i also have a 17 in flat screen monitor.....maybe that is the difference? my colors are better, that green is a bit faded and clamed looking now.....weird

you would think they would have made an announcement about the change and give suggestions on how to "fix" potential problems..

Gosh! I thought I needed to go and get new glasses! I'm not crazy about it either. I'm a computer dummy! Where and how do I change the print and resolution? I can turn my computer on, check my email and get on this board.........that's about it. I belong to another board and can't get on for some reason.

I dislike the new look...it now looks like every other board in cyberspace...and it was once unique! Now it just looks"inexpensive".

mimi, look at the top of your computer screen. Look at the right side of your tool bar and you will see things like tools, page or an icon of a house or maybe a computer. If you click on the "page" it will give you options.
Click on text size and you can make changes there.
    Diane

Don't feel bad pam, neither do I, no views, no no tools, no nothing. So it's just a continual scrolling, probably because my computer is old.
I think it also might depend on what server one uses for the internet.

For those who are having problems changing the font size you can hold the control key down and move the wheel on your mouse. Maybe this doesn't work on all computers, but it's worth a try.

The ctrl and scoll wheel don't work for all of us .I don't have the View, Tools or whatever at the top of the screen either.. I'm getting seasick from all this scrolling back and forth.

If you go to your page on your tool bar you can change the text size. Don't look for it on the site but instead look for the page on your tool bar at the top of your full screen. I hope that helps you.

Hi all.. I'm no computer whiz but on my computer if I go up to the very top of my tool bar, above the message board things.... My change takes place under the title of "view"... see if you have that and try it... but I think if you do change the text size from medium to large.. that may pertain to ALL pages you view... not just from this site!
Herblady p.s.. I agree, the page size is too wide.. is there somewhere we could voice our opinion to see if this could be changed back?

Have you tried going to your view and zoom in on it to shrink your page to fit your computer? It might work. On my computer it is on the page icon in my toolbar for my computer. Yours might be either in your view or tools. It does keep me from scrolling left to right. I hope this helps.

Oh that works lightitup...thanks. I went to View & then to text size & clicked on larger. That way the font is larger. Smile

Also, I don't see any big difference in the website. Looks the same to me.
