I'm making a sign for a "Santa key" to hang on

I know there are several poems already for this but I'm looking for an ending to one I've started...

On the night before Christmas
Before going to bed
Hang the key on the door knob
For Santa....

I'm hoping someone can finish this...

I know this isn't exactly what you had but I just couldn't find a way to finish it. And I'm not sure if this is what you wanted or good enough but here it is:

On the night before Christmas
make sure to leave
this key on the door knob
for Santa to retrieve.
He can use it to come in
for his Christmas Eve sweet
and to leave gifts for those
who deserve a nice treat
