Does anyone know if it is possible to modge podge photos on felt? Im trying to make a table runner for a holiday party. Ive tried wrapping paper and a plastic tablecloth with no luck. They both wrinkled.
The runner wrinkled or the photo wrinkled? Regular weight photos?

The wrapping paper wrinkled. We just copied the photos on a heavier copy paper and modge podged them on a heavy wrappjng paper.
If you have a laser printer or access to one you can transfer the images to fabric using your decoupage medium. I've never done it with felt so I would certainly do a test piece first.
IMAGE TRANSFER WITH LASER PRINTER
1. Print out an Image on REGULAR paper using a Laser printer (use mirror/reverse setting). Let ink dry thoroughly.
2. Apply Matte Decoupage Medium to both the printed side of your project and the surface of the fabric.
3. Apply Image face down on the fabric, smooth out any wrinkles (I use a brayer).
4. Let dry overnight.
5. Using a spray bottle and a wet sponge moisten the paper thoroughly and gently rub the paper off. Rewet as needed and continue until the paper is gone.
6. Seal image
*Using this same process I have transfered images to wood and canvas with images from my inkjet printer. As always, do a practice piece first.
