I have seen this on Pinterest also and love your versions. I guess my pick is the one with the plain wooden star that seems to go with the plain wooden nativity.

That reminds me of the crèche I made when I was a kid at Sunday school with the same clothes pins and popsicle sticks for the manger. I think my mom has it still.
