SteelersRNSuncatchers
I saw this idea posted on Pinterest, and decided to give it a try.
FUN!!!
It's just melted beads! Put a layer of beads in any metal pan, bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, then let cool completely, and they pop right out when pan inverted!
I drilled a hole for the string with my Dremel. I plan to change out the string for some fishing line.

SteelersRNThese were done in a 8" cake pan, with pony beads. I used mostly clear colors, but you can see a few solids. Makes a nice contrast I think.
(hard to get a pic outside due to nice stiff breezes LOL)

SteelersRNI REALLY like how this one turned out! Clear red, white & blue snowflake beads! Large red ones, med size clear, and little blues.
Gonna try for an actual pattern, and see how they do inside cookie cutters!

SteelersRNLast but not least, ones I made in a muffin tin :-)
Doing this does really stink up your kitchen! A friend said she heard not to do them in the house, because of the odor. But I had the exhaust fan on high, and feel no symptoms LOL

Liz L.How cool. I can see potential for using cookie cutters as a pattern ie., snowflake, flower etc. Isn't pinterest a cool pinboard. I go there once in awhile. TFS Liz

hjvagarThose are nice. I especially like the red, blue and clear one. BUT please everyone! Make sure your kitchen is well vented (open windows!!!) and use that exhaust fan. The smell can be toxic!
