in Webshots? I was having problems getting into my webshot accounts - used the wrong password... lol I entered the phrqasde "potato bag" in the webshot search engine and found my album PLUS another exact ablum using my pictures under the name of bcremeens!!! She used MY pictures! Couldn't believe it! She posted the album 3 months after I posted mine. I wrote her a note asking why was she using my pictures and this morning I reported her to webshot... Crazy!

Is it possible that she saved them as inspiration . . . and instead of saving them on her computer, she put them in her Webshots album?

hmmm... hadn't thought of that - I just wish she would have given me credit. We'll see what the technical support has to say about it at Webshots... I had hoped that I would have heard from her.

Someone did that to me one time recently, and posted my paintings in thier picturetrail and she did state it was pictures of inspirations, but she did not state who painted it or even ask premission to post my paintings. I tried to contact this person but got no response. Sorry this is happening, but as my husband reminds me all the time if you post a picture this is the chance you take. Also on that note I tell him I will continue to post my pics as I like to share and enjoy seeing other artist and crafts. So I continue to take that chance.

can you do as other crafters I have seen on this board do. When they post pictures they put their logo or name across them showing ownership. Just an idea for you. This way you can still share with all of us and not worry about someone not giving credit where due.

A lot of that is going around Bonnie. I's a shame too. There is such a thing called 'watermark' that you can put on your pics, sort of like putting your name. Don't know much about it.
