I need help with an idea, I want to make gingerbread men & put them in blank white CD envelopes (the ones with the clear window) But I want to dress them up a bit & have no idea how to do it that would be quick & easy since I will be making so many of them (as party favors) These will be for adults & kids. Any ideas??

Do you have an embroidery machine? I made 50 last week to go in my Christmas cards. Fast and easy.

Stamp the outside of envelope with snowflakes or some design. Add color/printed paper inside the window behind your cookie or a colored paper doiley would look nice. I tried to google it but not much came up.

Hi.!!! Haven't seen you in awhile. Glad to see yyou on here. Anyway....

Cut them out of fun foam and use a white marker for the embellishments. Red ribbon for a tie or/and blue for a bowtie. Fun foam cuts easy without tracing it on foam. Or use felt and do the same thing. If using fun foam you could glue a magnet on the back and then they would have it for their frigs year around.

Good luck, Jean

Are you wanting to do an edible cookie? The window envelope is a great idea.

Evelyn - Your guys are adorable! Don't some regular sewing machines have that blanket type stitch?

Thanks to all & I apologize for not getting back in here sooner. I did plan to do real gingie cookies in the envelopes, but the recipe I tried was a flop, so I just ended up skippin it all together lol
But your time was not wasted, got some good ideas for next year! Big Grin
