Does anyone have this problem? How do you handle it? It is really a problem with flat beads. I can't keep them flat on the neck. Lol. I use beadalon wire.
thanks.

Can you give more info? Is it a focal bead, and how is it strung? Maybe a pic would help.

add an extra jumpring? or use a cap/bail you make yourself from 22 guage wire that will hang the bead correctly?, using E6000 to glue the bail onto the "bead". Make sure you use beads drilled to lay flat and not drilled front to back. The kind of bead I think you are talking about is a center focal point bead and it would have to be drilled at the top from side to side to allow the wire to go through in the correct position to lie flat on the neck.

They look great on the table or even when I first put them on. As time passes, the center beads rotate and a friend will adjust it for me. I would love to solve this problem.
Thank you very much.

Could they be too tightly strung?
What is the size of your beading wire? The 49 strand Beadalon gives the greatest fleability.

pony600, would a crimp bead on either side do any good? I have no idea.

I guess I thought the tighter the less it would twist around, thank you for teaching me otherwise. I always appreciate your beading tips.

Those are beautiful! I would experiment with glue myself to see if I could glue the focal bead to the wire.

Not sure if it would work for you but when I have larger beads, I usually string a few smaller beads and push the larger ones onto them. Not all the way inside, just inside the ends with a little glue on them to hold in place. That way my beads seem to stay where I want them. You just need to make sure the beads are the same color (so just in case you can see a little bit of them up close) and in far enough to not show if you can.

Thanks for the great suggestions. As it happens I was experimenting myself before I came to the computer today. This is how the three look glued together on a wire. I don't see why it won't work if I dab some glue on the finished necklace also. I will let you know how that works.

(I am so happy to have finally mastered posting pictures here. So this is what the three look like.)

I haven't Ginger. I have to look into those. I'm not quite sure I know what they are. Thanks for the suggestion.
