I have been trying to downsize my craft supplies/painting books and have uncovered some vintage craft books. I did this can craft many, many years ago. The book was published in the 1970's.

    Book
Back then you needed tin snips, needle nose pliers and band aids.

Oh jamo !!!!! If you decide to get rid of the books, please let me know. I have done the chairs and started doing them in the '70's. But have not seen those books. I have a couple of chairs started right now for my son. Did a rocking chair for my Mom when she retired, back in the '70's. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Did you do the chairs in the first pic?

    Jean

p.s. maybe even a copy of the books? I'll gladly pay for them.

Good friends are like stars...You don't always see them, but you always know they're there.

Those little furniture pieces are just cute as 'can' be! Neat book, too. Have you ever made the chairs into pincushions? Just wondering and bet they would be cute. TFS.

There is a man in a wheelchair who has a booth with the "Christmas Made in the South" craft show that comes to Charleston the 1st weekend of Dec. and his booth is full of all sorts of those ornaments. I have bought a few of them, my grown daughter says hers is her favorite ornamment on her tree.(It is a cross & I have a snowflake on mine.)
