I've been trying to get back into some serious painting. I have an Etsy site which is temporarily closed at the moment because I'm trying to decide if I want to sell year 'round or just for the holidays. Then of course there's the fact that postage has gone up again.
I figure if I sell just during the holidays I have January thru August to paint stuff. Having a site is a lot of work when you have another job. I need PEOPLE!! lol

Pictures...I crave pictures.

If you sell something, wouldn't the buyer be the one to pay shipping? I've always had to when I buy things.

Hi dwg! It has been quiet around here. I usually "hang out" on the quilting boards. Lots of eye candy over there. Big Grin

I did post some pics of a new project this morning. It has gotten several looks but not one comment.

WAY quiet over here. I quilt, but I don't go to the quilting board here.

Want to see pics of anything anyone is doing. Get quite the charge out of seeing what everyone is doing.

Yes,
the buyer pays for shipping but it can be very expensive when sending large or bulky items. It's hard enough having to charge what I do for a hand painted item and then having the customer pay a ridiculous shipping cost. On the few large/bulky items I sold the customers were willing to pay the high shipping because they really wanted the items but I still don't think it's right. I know if I was doing the purchasing I wouldn't pay some of the shipping costs. It is a moral dilemma I deal with. I don't do many real big items so maybe it all evens itself out.

Aw rainee, it's not YOUR problem if I choose to buy something and feel the shipping is worth it. Lighten up on yourself a little.

You have to stop and realize some people would rather pay just about anything for something NOT mass produced in China. You can start your poll with my vote anyway!
