A few weeks ago, I promised to post some of the cards I'd been making, so here they come. The first one is one I just finished and sent this AM! The graphic is one I found on the Internet.

Here is the inside. I went online to look for birthday verses, then printed it out.

I made several of these sympathy cards. I found a package of the little ornaments at Michaels, and made lots of these to have on hand

This is a card I made using card-stock die cuts that are by k&company. There were 88 pieces in the package, and 2 of all the large die cuts, one glittered, the other without. Then there are 30 or 40 small die cuts that can be added to a card if needed.

None of these cards have verses on the inside, as I'm waiting until I need to send it to choose a good verse for the recipient.

card # 10 from diecuts. The background on the card was from a small pad of papers, and so I used a little different paper for the envelope.

Last card for today. I'm working on some more of these cards, and I'm also going to make some with Thinking of You, as well as Get Well. I found all of these card verses on the Internet.

This flower is the largest die cut in the package. Thanks for looking!

What a great bunch of cards. All are so lovely and well done. Thank you for sharing them. Maybe I can get myself into making cards again.

Very nice. I love your end die cut. Love the lacy look. And love the die cuts on the fronts too.

Wow, such a wonderful selection of hand made cards! I like all your designs, and the punched edges. I like the idea of recycling, and you did a great job of reusing your cards.

Nice cards. I saw a similar package at one of the stores and thought about buying it,but didn't. Guess I will have to go back and see if I can find it. I was in the process of cutting up cards rec'd and dh came in and asked what I was doing. He had a fit when I told him I was recycling cards - he couldn't understand why I didn't want to keep all of them. Oh well, it was too late then!! TFS

Thanks to everyone for your kind words about the cards. And yes, I know that there are plenty of $ stores where we can buy a card for $.50, and I have no misconceptions that I am saving money making my own, but I enjoy it, and people seem to enjoy receiving them. I do use commercial cards sometimes, and that was my purpose in making this group of cards; to make enough to have on hand when needed. I don't always have time to drop everything and make a card, so making them ahead seems to be a good idea to me. As to the package of die cuts I used, they were 40% off, so I thought it was affordable. I also use images I find on the Internet, and then also use old cards. I'm working on another group now, and will post them at a later time.

7575EH, shhhhhh, don't tell anyone, but I bought Christmas cards last year after Christmas, and don't plan to make Christmas cards this year. But next year, I'll be back in there doing the Christmas thing!
