Finally just received my pen today and I would like to ask a few questions. First of all, as soon as I got the darn thing I HAD to put paint into it to try it out and THEN I read it needed to be thinned so off to the sink to empty it out. Anyhow, how thin does it need to be and is there an easy way to get that paint into that little well without making a huge mess? And if I thin the paint will it be too light on whatever I am using it on? I need it mostly for black and white and I'm afraid, mostly with the black, that it will look lighter than I want. Should I maybe just go out and buy ink? Hate to do that because with the paint I can always wash it off and redo it if I'm not happy with it. Not sure if I could do that with the ink and pretty much think I couldn't. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

The paint is suppose to be an ink consistency and from the video I watched the lady just used her paint brush to fill the pen holder. I think the pen will be a short learning curve, at first I would only add one or two drops of water your spot of paint....and see how that works. (maybe 3 paint to 1 water to start out with.) And make sure your black is a dark/strong black. I haven't painted in a few years but there use to be few blacks to choose from...just like white. Picking a strong dark black would help. I want to use the pen for the same reason as you, paint is more forgiving with a chance to wipe it off if you aren't happy with it. Check the video out that was posted on original thread. ******************************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Snowman Tree & Wirebox Snowman: by Paintlady34 Password: snowmantree http://s1229.photobucket.com/a...69/Craftingfriends1/
