I need some help on cutting some wine bottles.
Also would like to put homes in the bottoms of
the bottles after I cut them off. I am making wnd chimes. Any help would be apprecitated.
If you could rent a wet tile saw, or knew someone who had one, that would cut your bottles. You will need the water to cool the glass so that it doesn't crack.
Our lives are like quilts - bits and pieces, joy and sorrow, stitched with love.
try a search for bottle cutting. as that is how I found info on one and it looks like it is easy to use. Lay the bottle in the holder and the cutter goes around it making an even cut. Can't recall the name.

I have never tried the wrapped string method, but several websites give simple directions, and seems to work. Worth a try?
