I tried my hand at iris folding and love it.
I also added embossing for an added touch. This is the front for a card I still have to put together.

Nice work luckymanuh,
Did you use paper or ribbon?
I like the variation of brown, but the picture is so small I can't see the embossing, I am assuming it is in the card stock.

I used paper. Some of it is pretty thick paper too. All Archivers had when I was there cropping. I really want to try ribbon though

Nice job Lucky!! I find when I do the iris fold mine turns out quiet bulky.. guess that's where the "practice makes perfect" comes in.
You did a wonderful job!

couple of things i learned about iris folding:

use a lot of tape on the back making sure all papers are secured

you can use a rolling pin or a cuttlebug or sizzix machine over the finished piece

put the finished piece under some heavy books overnight

use wrapping paper or even tissue paper doubled up

mount the finished piece to a card using pop dots or other dimensional tape...then it doesnt create a rounded middle..or pop off the card

your little doggie is sooo cute.....
