That is so cute! Love the poem. When my DD left home for graduate school I sent her some Halloween goodies. Instead of using packaging peanuts I crumbled up $1 to $20 bills. When she took off the tape the box erupted. Her friends were with her and they munched and ironed bills. It was a lot more fun than cashing a check or a gift card.
I made this one last year for our grandson and it turned out cute and was appreciated. I like the clever ways to give money gifts rather than just putting money in a card

Several years ago I got lots of $1.00 bills from bank, ironed all and took the very best to make 'money' pads. 20 in a pad. (Had lots of kids to do for.!!!) Used the glue that they use on little note pads, made a cover like a check book cover and a poem on the front. Think the kids liked them.
2 years ago I put money in small bean cans with the pull flip top. They were fun to do and see when the kids tried to figure out if Grandma was crazy or not. But the looks on their faces was pricless. Here's one of my oldest grand-son.

Good friends are like stars...You don't always see them, but you always know they're there.
