And I cannot tell you how busy I have been. I think the last time I posted I was on my way to Colorado for a work vacation. Well it was fabulous - it was hot too. At least for my way of thinking. (lol) I came back & spent the day catchin' up on my washin' clothes (who doesn't). Then my dear sis called to say that my mom was in the ER. WHat! My mom is not one to ever get sick. Well it was her heart. It was racin' like all get out. And here I am, 3-1/2 hrs away. So she spent quit a bit of time in the Er & they released her really late. Ok...thinkin' it was just a scare. But no...something was wrong. So my daughter & grandson were supposed to head home & we decided to just leave at 2:00am for Houston. We got there at 5:30am, went to bed & my sis woke me up at 8:30 saying that mom's heart was racing again. And it was! You could see her chest just a going. Before we knew it, she began to faint on us. So 9-1-1 was called. I rode with her to the ER & they admitted her. Come to find out after all of the test, she needed a pacemaker. But she refused!!! So I stayed for a week, came home again & washed clothes. The next day I had Canton - 4 days of Canton. We convinced her to have the pacemaker on Monday so DH & I get up at 4:00am & head south to Houston. Mom had the surgery that afternoon but her heart was still out of whack. It's been such an ordeal - never had I been thru something like this. When my youngest had her pacemaker, it's the kind that works all of the time. Mom's just kicks in when it needs to. She's on meds for the rest of her life. But it's getting better. Ok...now I am back home & crammin' like there's no tomorrow. I have Canton in 4 days & only have oven aprons - or let me re-phrase that, some oven aprons made up. I have started on light bulbs but they are in different stages. In the mean time, my craft show partner & I have been sellin' at the farmers market. And it's been really good to us! We had our first ** weekend! I made $115 & she made $140. It was almost just as good this past weekend, despite the 100+ temperature. Of course, Canton is gonna be really hot. It was last year but for 4 straight months! Ok---I made up some of those Red Solo cup glasses & sure enough, my competitor two doors down had them too! I have mine marked for $4 & she had her's for $1~! I just don't get it - how she's makin' any money. I know Dollar Tree won't cut me a deal for under $1 - does anyone know of a wholesaler for candlesticks? Anyways-I'll be back to work next week - have another mini-trip to DD's before she has "my" DGD in September. Then I'll be back when the baby is born. So I am sunk for time! I am hooked on Pinterest bigtime. Mainly for all things - I can't pick a favorite. And I am so excited for a few of our HGTV friends who have been busy painting with Terrye French! Sooo excited for them!!! anyways - gotta get back to work - T's & P's to those who need them. We were blessed to not have family or friends affected by the recent fires in Colorado. They were evacuated but lucky to be sent home. as always, Debi O' Crafting does the heart good.

I'm wore out just reading your post! You are one busy lady. Hope your mom gets back to her old self soon! Maybe your competitor is selling her Red Solo glasses so cheap to get people in her booth to look at everything else.

Sorry about your Mother's health problems. Will say prayers for her. With your vacation and all the things you are doing, you really stay busy, like you usually do! Bet it is hot in Canton.....

Prayers for you mother. Wish you the best on your shows.

Bless your heart !! My goodness that is a lot going on at your part of the world. Hope your mom does very well and the pacemaker gets things going right for her. Try to relax yourself a bit so you don't go on overload.

Debi, I just got around to reading your Monday report. I'm so sorry about your mom and will add her to the list of folks I'm pr*ying for. I'm sure that they'll get her pacemaker adjusted soon. I had a great-aunt who had a pacemaker (actually 3, each one better than the last) for over 35 years, and that was before they were as good as they are now. Here's hoping that your Canton show is a real success. I'm sure you'll kick it into overdrive and have a good supply of stock after all. Hugs of Energy! LindaJ52
